Canmore Nordic Centre
The Canmore Nordic Centre was developed to host the 1988 Winter Olympic Cross Country events. Since that success, the Nordic Centre has played host to a wide number of Cross Country Skiing events yearly.
Canada Olympic Park
Canada Olympic Park (C.O.P.) is located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The park is operated by Calgary Olympic Development Association (CODA). It is currently used both for high performance athletic training and for recreational purposes by the general public.
Lake Louise
With 4200 skiable acres, Lake Louise is one of the largest ski areas in North America.
Nakiska
Nakiska is known as Calgary's closest ski mountain, about a 50-minute drive from the city into Kananaskis Country, a recreational playground in Alberta. It was home to ski competitions during the 1988 Winter Olympics that were based in Calgary.
Olympic Oval
The Olympic Oval is a world class speed skating and high performance sport facility dedicated to the pursuit of excellence and health and wellness for all.
Olympic Plaza
The plaza was originally built from 1986 – 1987 for a medal presentation during the 1988 Winter Olympics.
