VIESSMANN LUGE WORLD CUP
November 20-21, 2009
Canada Olympic Park, Calgary
Canadian Luge Association
Downhill sledding taken to the extreme! Albertans make up over half of both the men's and women's teams, so go cheer on some locals. If you cheer loud enough, maybe they'll bring home Canada's first Olympic medal in luge in February.

BOMBARDIER PRESENTS LAKE LOUISE WINTERSTART WORLD CUP
November 28 & 29, 2009 (Men's Downhill and Super G)

The men's and women's World Cup Alpine events take place back-to-back over two weekends. After the races, the Winterstart Festival in Banff and Lake Louise brings some extra energy to the mountain with two weekends of fun!

CCA WORLD CUP CURLING , Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings
December 6-13, 2009
Rexall Place, Edmonton
Canadian Curling Association
The Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings in Edmonton will determine which men's and women's teams will represent Canada for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. Kevin Martin and Randy Ferbey will compete in front of a hometown crowd, while Cheryl Bernard will make the trip north from Calgary.

CANADA POST FREESTYLE GRAND PRIX AND FIS WORLD CUP PRESENTED BY ERNST AND YOUNG
January 8-10, 2010

Did you know that freestyle skiing made its debut as a demonstration sport during the 1988 Olympics in Calgary? Check out the air time some of the athletes get as they compete in moguls, double moguls and aerial events.
